A posh place frequented by the ‘yuppies’ of the BCN business. With one of the top windows of the city, you can choose between two rooms, in the bottom there are a number of sofas and armchairs scattered throughout the space, with indirect lighting and quieter than upstairs where atmosphere is more lively. A good place to go for a beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic to start the evening as it is quite near the Luz de Gas nightclub.

An emblematic place which breathes the history of the city’s classic tapas bar in Barcelona, that raises from the ashes without losing its charm. In the 90’s it was the ideal place for business meetings or just meeting with friends; it closed in 2001 and reopened in 2009 restored to a more formal style but respecting the classic vintage style. The menu is large and varied, bravas, spiked potato salad, ham croquettes, fried calamari, fried eggs, spicy bulbs, a feira octopus, Gildas, Padrón peppers, anchovies, in vinegar or traditional; but you can also try elaborate dishes like tail stew, fricassee or pork feet. Definitly one of the strengths of this place is the extensive schedule of the kitchen; you can eat first thing in the morning (6am) or really late at night (3am). Excellent place for a few drinks just minutes from the Luz de Gas nightclub.

Bar Boca Chica
Very close to the metro Diagonal (L3) is the Boca Grande restaurant and Boca Chica, a cocktail bar located on the second floor of the Boca Grande restaurant. Divided into two rooms, the mixture of this place is striking: upstairs there is a stylish restaurant with a beautiful kitchen; below, a cocktail bar with a surreal atmosphere with an explosive decoration: stuffed animal heads, mirrors, candles and touches of oriental art. In one night you can go to believe you’re in a club in New York to feel in the cabin of an African tribe; and their toilets…are worth the visit…SURPRISE: the DJ plays from them!!
In Boca Chica you may have the option to customize your mixes. Your bartender will prepare cocktails to your personal preferences and flavors so you can forget the menu and play with your drinks.
